About The Position

This position provides general nursing care to patients and families across the health-illness continuum in diverse health care settings while collaborating with the health care team. The nurse is accountable for nursing practice as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing. As part of a High Reliability Organization, the role requires a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency while performing job duties. Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse credential from the Ohio Board of Nursing.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
• Field of study: Nursing.
• A state driver's license.
• CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation).

Responsibilities

• Perform initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessments appropriate to the population or individual.
• Document planned nursing interventions based on nursing diagnoses and collaborative problems to achieve outcomes appropriate to patient needs.
• Evaluate and document responses to nursing interventions and achievement of outcomes at appropriate intervals; revise the plan of care with the multidisciplinary team based on evaluative data.
• Participate in process improvement activities to achieve targeted measures of clinical quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.
• Carry out operations responsibilities.
• Focus on safety, quality, and efficiency in performing job duties.
