About The Position

This part-time Staff RN position provides general nursing care to patients and families across the health-illness continuum in a diverse healthcare setting, collaborating with the healthcare team. The nurse is accountable for nursing practice as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing. The role is in Surgical Unit 1 in Marion and is scheduled for 24 hours per week on the night shift, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. The position is eligible for weekend and shift differentials. As a High Reliability Organization, OhioHealth expects this role to focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. Requirements

Current Registered Nurse credential from the Ohio Board of Nursing.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation).
State driver's license.

Responsibilities

Perform initial, ongoing, and functional health-status assessments appropriate to the patient population or individual.
Document planned nursing interventions based on nursing diagnoses and collaborative problems to achieve outcomes appropriate to patient needs.
Evaluate and document responses to nursing interventions and achievement of outcomes at appropriate intervals.
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to revise the plan of care based on evaluative data.
Participate actively in process-improvement activities to achieve targeted clinical-quality, customer-satisfaction, and financial-performance measures.
Carry out operations responsibilities.
