About The Position

The Staff RN provides holistic, patient-centered nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle. The nurse uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, works within the organization’s policies and procedures, and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The role is responsible for maintaining standards of practice and coordinating the patient-care activities of assigned staff to provide quality nursing care.

This position is in the Emergency Department at Piedmont Fayette Hospital and is scheduled for weekend nights, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Piedmont describes a collaborative work environment with dedicated team members and state-of-the-art technology. Experienced candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000.

Requirements

• Graduation from a nursing program.
• Current Georgia registered nurse license or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• BLS and ACLS certifications must be obtained through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.

• Previous critical care experience preferred.
