About The Position

The ISRM Staff Program Manager is a critical and trusted role contributing to the preparedness and success of the ISRM department while ensuring key commitments are met. You will directly support the ISRM Department so that it can effectively and efficiently fulfill its mission. The ISRM Staff Program Manager will help drive the ISRM organization’s resource plan, strategic agenda, priorities, and organizational change management while establishing and maintaining an operational rhythm for the organization and leveraging key relationships throughout the organization. This is a hands-on role and requires a highly resourceful, self-driven individual with the ability to partner, execute, and lead through influence. Position requires to be onsite full time in San Diego, 5 days a week This position is not eligible for Qualcomm immigration sponsorship.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of cybersecurity-relevant work experience with a bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, Engineering, etc.) OR 8+ years of cybersecurity-relevant work experience without a bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years leadership experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in relevant field (Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Cryptography, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience in one or more of the following: project/program management, cybersecurity functions such as: incident response, security operations monitoring, business risk analysis, security policy and standards development, threat modeling, adversarial testing (penetration testing, red/purple teaming), education and awareness, security architecture, identity and access management, or security control operations and deployment.
  • 8+ years of cybersecurity-relevant work experience.
  • 4+ years of IT-relevant work experience

Responsibilities

  • Leverage your Cybersecurity knowledge to act as a trusted advisor and execution partner to senior security leaders, helping translate strategy into actionable plans and bridging gaps between technical delivery, operating model readiness, and business outcomes.
  • Serve as a key delegate for ISRM, representing leadership in operational and cross‑functional forums and ensuring follow‑through on leadership priorities.
  • Support and streamline ISRM operating cadence by coordinating and integrating management reviews, service reviews, strategy sessions, and other ISRM forums.
  • Drive execution discipline across ISRM, coordinating and tracking cybersecurity commitments and deliverables to ensure on‑time delivery against strategic and regulatory objectives while balancing technical capability, operating model readiness, risk reduction, and business value realization.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional execution with ISRM partners to support enterprise initiatives, reinforce operating model principles, and enable effective decision‑making.
  • Operationalize and maintain the ISRM Service Ownership program, supporting definition of ownership expectations, governance processes, and periodic reporting to improve accountability, transparency, and risk visibility.
  • Prepare ISRM department and executive‑ready materials, including agendas, insights, action tracking, and leadership readouts, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with CISO messaging.
  • Support structured organizational change management during periods of transformation, ensuring continuity, clarity, and alignment
