About The Position

Qualcomm is seeking a Staff Product Management IC based in San Diego to lead worldwide distributor/channel partner engagement and enable scalable go-to-market execution for Personal Audio. Qualcomm is a leading supplier of integrated Bluetooth audio chipsets for the personal audio market, a key segment of Qualcomm’s Voice and Music business unit. This fast-growing category is increasingly important to the overall device experience and is strategically important to the company. The successful candidate will lead key initiatives to develop, enable, and expand distribution partner engagement and business growth globally, working closely with regional sales teams and cross-functional stakeholders. Qualcomm is seeking a Staff, Product Management professional to work closely with the Head of Personal Audio Marketing to drive multiple aspects of the business, including: Work with engineering and technical teams to influence chipset/IP roadmap to match evolving customer requirements and market trends. Collaborate with ODMs/IDHs/CMs to create turnkey solutions for innovative form factors and new use cases. Serve as the primary point of contact for global distribution partners, partnering with regional sales teams to ensure accounts deliver sustained revenue and margin growth. Partner with Product Management to define and execute Qualcomm’s market positioning and customer/channel-specific positioning strategies. Maintain a clear view of product and portfolio strengths, gaps, and competitive differentiation. Ensure positioning and value propositions are translated into high-quality sales and marketing enablement materials for regional teams and partners. Collaborate with the Head of Personal Audio Marketing to define and execute a business strategy that: Provides a credible path to revenue and margin growth Is supported by clear financial modeling and business cases Aligns to the product roadmap (in partnership with Product Management) Fits within the Voice and Music strategic plan and Qualcomm’s broader strategy Drive successful new product introductions (NPIs) in collaboration with Marketing, Product Management, Sales, and Engineering. Work with sales regions to ensure the pipeline, customer coverage, and channel execution support expected growth and strategic objectives. Establish channel operating rhythms and partner governance (e.g., QBRs), ensuring consistent execution, accountability, and scalable best practices across regions.

Requirements

  • Technical expertise about connectivity solutions like BT, Wi-Fi and audio features like Codecs, Active Noise Cancellation, Noise Suppression etc.
  • Experience in the semiconductor industry and/or personal audio market (ideally both).
  • Experience working with global audio distributors and/or channel partners, with a strong track record of driving partner engagement and measurable business outcomes.
  • A proven record of defining product and business strategy and driving cross-functional execution to deliver sustained revenue and margin growth.
  • Experience operating effectively in large, matrixed organizations and achieving results through influence.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or related field.
  • 5+ years of Product Management or related work experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) — spoken and written — is a plus for partner/customer engagement.
  • Formal business training (e.g., MBA).
  • Experience developing scalable channel programs (partner tiering, enablement, demand generation with partners, joint planning/QBR cadence).
