Staff Product Manager, Agent Connectivity

Temporal Technologies•Seattle, WA

About The Position

Temporal is evolving from core durable execution toward supporting AI-powered software and agents. The Staff Product Manager, Agent Connectivity will help shape how Temporal supports agent builders by expanding Nexus, Temporal’s connectivity layer, with foundational capabilities and agent-specific features and integrations such as an MCP connector and tool registry. The role identifies high-leverage product investments and works closely with the founder/CTO and engineering team to bring them to market. The position owns Nexus strategy and roadmap, turns ambiguous customer and market signals into product theses, and leads discovery with customers, field teams, and the open-source community. It requires technical depth in distributed systems, workflow orchestration, service-to-service communication, APIs, SDKs, identity, and authorization, along with experience in developer platforms and technical products. Nexus is past general availability and entering a phase of broader adoption. The product manager will advance its developer experience, connector foundations, operator controls, and future opportunities such as a connector ecosystem, Service Hub, and Agentic Communication Fabric. The role also includes defining success measures and enabling company teams to explain, sell, deploy, and support Nexus. Temporal describes the work environment as fast-moving, cross-functional, and focused on ownership, customer needs, and company results. Temporal Technologies is an equal opportunity employer. Employment decisions are based on qualifications, merit, and business need. The company embraces diversity and provides reasonable accommodation for individuals with disabilities; applicants who need an accommodation are asked to inform their recruiter.
