Agent Product Manager

Decagon•San Francisco, CA
•$150,000 - $200,000•Onsite

About The Position

Decagon is hiring a senior individual contributor to own the successful delivery, adoption, and expansion of AI solutions for its largest and most complex enterprise customers. The Agent Product Manager serves as the primary technical and strategic owner for customer accounts, earning the trust of executive leadership, scoping solutions, and building working AI agents. The role owns customer relationships from initial pre-sales conversations through production and expansion, and partners with Strategic Account Directors, Agent Strategy Managers, Forward Deployed Engineers, Sales, Solutions Engineers, and other teams to deliver outcomes. This is a bespoke, high-stakes role rather than a standardized implementation, account management, or customer success position. The role combines executive-level strategy, product-building instincts, and end-to-end ownership. The successful candidate makes independent decisions, directs engineers and partner teams, and remains accountable for outcomes. Learnings from major deployments are turned into reusable playbooks and assets that inform Decagon’s product roadmap and improve future implementations.

Requirements

  • Builder’s instinct and desire to design and build solutions, not only diagnose problems or manage others who build them.
  • Strong technical acumen, including the ability to understand and shape AI agent designs and engage effectively in technical discussions with engineers and executives.
  • Executive presence and a track record of becoming a trusted advisor to senior decision-makers at large, complex organizations.
  • Comfort working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments and shaping solutions as well as implementing them.

Responsibilities

  • Own the technical win on Decagon’s largest strategic opportunities, partnering with Sales, Solutions Engineers, and Forward Deployed Engineers to build working AI agents and convert sophisticated buyers into customers.
  • Serve as the executive partner to Fortune 500 C-suite leaders, defining and driving their AI transformation roadmaps and owning relationships from initial conversations through production and expansion.
  • Design, build, and optimize enterprise-grade AI agents in production based on customers’ workflows, pain points, and goals.
  • Turn developed frameworks and playbooks into reusable assets that scale across accounts and inform Decagon’s product roadmap.
  • Direct Forward Deployed Engineers and partner teams to deliver at scale while remaining accountable for outcomes.
  • Provide feedback to Product and Engineering based on lessons from demanding customer deployments and help shape the product.
