About The Position

Workday is seeking a Senior Product Manager for the Agent Passport initiative within the Agent System of Record (ASOR). This role sits at the intersection of security, compliance, AI platform engineering, and ecosystem partners. The Senior Product Manager will define and execute capabilities related to cryptographic Stamps, runtime defense, and certification workflows to establish Workday as a trusted security authority for autonomous AI agents. The AI Platform team is responsible for building foundational systems that power intelligence across all Workday products. The Agent Passport team specifically leads the vision and execution for Agent Passport, a federated trust model that decouples security assertions from underlying agent code to bridge the enterprise trust gap. Agent Passport serves as the essential 'ticket to entry' for the Agent System of Record (ASOR), creating a registry of third-party cryptographic 'Stamps' to validate security and governance across tiered assurance levels while fostering a monetizable trust ecosystem. This role partners closely with product, engineering, and research teams across Workday to turn innovation into customer-ready capabilities, driving platform-level solutions that deliver significant business impact at a global scale.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience delivering enterprise platform, security, or AI features.
  • 3+ years of solid understanding of AI governance, agentic AI architectures, cryptographic attestation, MLOps, or security/compliance frameworks (e.g., EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001).
  • Proven track record of defining user stories, executing roadmaps, and collaborating closely with engineering and security architects.
  • Exceptional analytical skills; comfort with financial modeling, TAM/SAM sizing, scenario planning, and competitive analysis.
  • Track record of influencing product roadmaps and investment decisions in large, matrixed organizations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication — you can make the complex feel simple without losing nuance.
  • A collaborative, low-ego working style. You build trust across functions and lead through influence rather than authority.
  • Bachelor's degree required.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or advanced degree in a technical or quantitative field preferred.
  • Experience at a major enterprise SaaS or platform company (HCM, ERP, or Finance space a plus).
  • Experience with security integrations, automated red teaming, runtime monitoring, or digital identity/trust frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Workday's product suite, customer base, or competitive positioning.
  • Published thought leadership or speaking engagements on AI strategy topics.

Responsibilities

  • Define and Evolve Agent Passport Capabilities: Own the Agent Passport roadmap within ASOR. Define the stamp taxonomy, assessment criteria, and verification requirements, and author the specifications for each Passport stamp.
  • Lead Partner and Ecosystem Integrations: Partner with development and assessment partners in the Agent Partner Network to integrate assessment workflows into ASOR.
  • Ensure Regulatory and Standards Alignment: Map Passport stamps to regulations (such as the EU AI Act) and standards (ISO 42001, NIST AI RMF, OWASP LLM Top 10, MITRE ATLAS) so enterprise buyers receive independently assessed, verifiable evidence of agent trustworthiness and compliance posture.
  • Define Assessment and Issuance Workflows: Partner with engineering, data science, and security teams to define how assessor evidence becomes Workday-issued stamps across the agent lifecycle, from pre-deployment testing through activation-time enforcement and runtime defense. Inform the broader ASOR roadmap based on what these workflows require.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with adjacent product teams, Security, GRC, and Go-to-Market to drive adoption among enterprise buyers and agent publishers. Gather customer feedback and translate it into actionable product requirements.
  • Monitor the Landscape: Track competitive approaches, including closed-loop vendor trust signals, along with partnership opportunities, emerging research, and regulatory developments. Maintain a competitive positioning view that feeds directly into roadmap decisions.
