Staff Product Manager, Insurance
About The Position
Hover is redefining how people understand and interact with their spaces, particularly within the complex insurance claims process. The company utilizes proprietary AI and 3D property models to provide accurate assessments, aiming to transform a historically broken and slow workflow. This role is crucial in defining the next chapter of Hover's claims product, focusing on both new product development and enhancing existing enterprise workflows. The Staff Product Manager will work directly with enterprise customers, collaborate with engineering and AI/ML leadership, and contribute to making Hover the standard for AI-powered claims.
Requirements
- 6+ years of product management experience.
- At least a few years in enterprise or B2B software.
- A track record of shipping high-quality products fast, ideally in domains with real-world operational complexity.
- Experience working directly with enterprise customers as a co-builder.
- Comfort with AI/ML products, able to engage meaningfully with tradeoffs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Insurance industry experience (claims, underwriting, or adjacent).
- Mobile product experience.
- Background in computer vision, field inspection software, or workflow automation.
Responsibilities
- Drive claims product strategy, including roadmap shaping and opportunity identification.
- Co-build solutions with enterprise customers, spending time in the field to gather insights and translate workflows into product features.
- Ship and iterate on products quickly, balancing early discovery with the delivery of enterprise features.
- Define AI and capture experiences that feel magical, working with ML and computer vision teams to create intuitive tools for both mobile and web.
- Help build the end-to-end claims platform, ensuring seamless workflows and integration with other PMs' work.
