About The Position

Bethany of the Northwest is seeking motivated Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for its PRN Staff Pool supporting four facilities in Everett, Washington. Staff Pool employees cover absences due to vacation or sick leave and may select shifts 4–6 weeks in advance or accept short-notice shifts. Employees must actively work at least two shifts per month. Shifts are eight hours: 6 a.m.–2 p.m., 2 p.m.–10 p.m., or 10 p.m.–6 a.m. Pay is $40–$50 per hour for LPNs and $45–$55 per hour for RNs, depending on experience. Bethany provides skilled and sub-acute nursing and assisted living services for elderly and disabled people across its four Everett locations. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited diploma, associate, or bachelor’s school of nursing, or vocational nursing program.
Current, active Washington State RN or LPN license.
Proof of current CPR certification.
At least one year of nursing experience.
Compassionate, friendly demeanor.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work a minimum of two shifts per month.
Availability to accept short-notice shifts.

Nice To Haves

Experience in long-term care (LTC) or skilled nursing is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Assess patients’ conditions.
Record observations and perform evaluation tasks, including taking vital signs and reviewing medications.
Administer medications as prescribed by the patient’s physician.
Communicate effectively with patients or clients, their family members, team members, and other healthcare professionals.
Follow instructions from senior team members as directed.
Cover staff absences due to vacation or sick leave across four Everett facilities.
