Requirements

• Three years of experience and/or training in the practice of medicine.
• Must be in possession of a license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as issued by the State Medicine Board, or the State Osteopathic Medicine Board.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions.
• A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and drug screening.
• This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct medical attention to residents across assigned living areas and other locations as needed
• Evaluate residents through physical examinations, diagnostic studies, and appropriate treatments
• Record all clinical decisions and actions clearly, including progress notes and required reports
• Write accurate medication orders, review drug regimens, and complete mandated medication reviews
• Support other physicians by offering guidance and expertise when requested
• Follow federal, state, and organizational regulations while maintaining required continuing education
