About The Position

Genesis Ortho is seeking a motivated, compassionate, and skilled Physical Therapist to provide evidence-based care to a diverse patient population with orthopedic conditions. Patients are primarily working-age adults, including many who qualify for Medicaid and lack employer-sponsored coverage. The clinic also sees teens, children ages 9 and older, and older adults less frequently. The role offers an opportunity to make a difference in patients’ lives and grow professionally within a supportive organization. The therapist will work with a multidisciplinary team and maintain a 1:1 Physical Therapist to PTA ratio. The organization is expanding across the Chicagoland area and anticipates adding services such as Blood Flow Restriction Therapy.

Requirements

Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Illinois.
Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program; a DPT is preferred.

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of experience in orthopedic settings.
Board certification in Orthopedics or Sports Medicine.
Experience working with athletes and/or post-surgical patients.
Proficiency with Epic Hyperspace EMR.
Strong manual therapy skills, including Graston, Dry Needling, MDT, and Mulligan techniques.
DPT degree.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough evaluations, including goniometry, manual muscle testing, and functional assessments.
Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with physicians.
Use therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to reduce pain and improve function.
Educate patients about their conditions, treatment goals, and injury prevention strategies.
Accurately document treatment progress using Epic Hyperspace EMR.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care.
Supervise a dedicated 1:1 Physical Therapist to PTA ratio to ensure continuity of care.
Pursue continuing education and professional development in advanced physical therapy techniques.
