About The Position
Genoa Healthcare seeks a Staff Pharmacist to perform professional duties associated with processing prescriptions. The pharmacist distributes medications prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners, provides customers with information about medications and their use, and focuses on delivering a superior level of customer service. The role also includes administering immunizations as permitted by the applicable State Board of Pharmacy and ensuring compliance with relevant pharmacy laws. Genoa Healthcare is part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group. It works with community-based providers and coordinated care teams to support people with complex health conditions, including people in behavioral health and addiction treatment communities. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
- Current pharmacist license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Pass a drug test before beginning employment.
