Float Community Pharmacist
About The Position
Genoa Healthcare is hiring a Float Community Pharmacist to support pharmacy locations throughout the Twin Cities and surrounding communities. The role serves individuals receiving behavioral health and specialty care, helping ensure reliable access to medications. The pharmacist works in a collaborative, mission-driven environment and provides patient care across multiple locations. The schedule is generally Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Genoa Healthcare is part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group. Its pharmacy care services include in-clinic pharmacies and medication management, delivered in coordination with community-based providers and other care partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
- Current Minnesota Pharmacist license.
- Certified immunizer or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Nice To Haves
- Pharmacist experience.
- Willingness to complete Long-Acting Injectable (LAI) training and administer LAIs.
Responsibilities
- Dispense medications accurately and safely.
- Counsel patients on medication use and therapy management.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and patient care.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.
- Administer immunizations as permitted by state regulations.
- Support multiple pharmacy locations and perform other pharmacist duties as needed.
