About The Position

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Float Pharmacist to provide direct patient care and wellness services in a fast-paced, evolving environment. The pharmacist supports disease state management, optimizes medication therapy, provides patient-centered care, and assists with the management of acute and chronic conditions. The role also contributes to operational excellence, a safe and compliant pharmacy environment, and the company’s cultural initiatives. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, Pharm.D., or equivalent FPGEC (NABP).
• Active pharmacy license in the state(s) of practice, with all held licenses in good standing.
• Certified Immunizer required.
• Ability to work a variety of schedules.

Responsibilities

• Actively deliver patient care services.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, clerks, and pharmacy interns.
• Champion operational excellence and help ensure a safe, compliant environment.
• Contribute to company cultural initiatives that enhance overall success and sustainability.
• Support disease state management, optimize medication therapy, provide patient-centered care, and assist in managing acute and chronic conditions.
