About The Position

We are seeking a qualified Staff Pharmacist to support inpatient pharmacy operations within a healthcare facility. Under the supervision of pharmacy leadership, this role is responsible for ensuring the safe, appropriate, and effective use of medications. The pharmacist will contribute across clinical pharmacy services, medication distribution, operational support, and quality initiatives, while maintaining compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations.

Requirements

  • Hospital pharmacy experience required (retail-only experience will not be considered)
  • Experience with unit-dose medication systems and IV admixtures
  • Strong proficiency with pharmacy systems and computer applications
  • Ability to work independently and make clinical decisions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid understanding of clinical and operational pharmacy practices
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on medication safety and accuracy

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safe and effective drug therapy management for patients
  • Participate in clinical pharmacy services and patient care activities
  • Review, verify, and monitor medication orders and therapy plans
  • Support IV admixture preparation and unit-dose medication systems
  • Oversee accurate and timely medication dispensing
  • Ensure compliance with hospital pharmacy protocols and safety standards
  • Maintain proper medication storage, handling, and inventory control
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance standards
  • Support efficient pharmacy workflow and daily operations
  • Utilize pharmacy information systems for medication management and documentation
  • Provide education and guidance to healthcare staff and team members
  • Participate in clinical training and knowledge-sharing initiatives
  • Engage in assigned pharmacy-related research activities
  • Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
