About The Position
Genoa Healthcare is a pharmacy care services company that is part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group’s family of businesses. We are part of a leading information and technology-enabled health services business dedicated to making the health system work better for everyone. We seek a part-time Staff Pharmacist to perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with the processing of prescriptions. This onsite, part-time position will be scheduled 16 hours per week during the pharmacy hours of Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm. Candidates must have some availability during that time.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
- Current pharmacist license in state of Vermont
- Certified immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 3 months of hire
Responsibilities
- Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
- Provides information to customers about medications and their use
- Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service
- Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy
- Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy
- Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties
