About The Position

CVS Health is seeking a part-time Staff Pharmacist to support the Pharmacy Manager and oversee pharmacy operations while delivering safe, high-quality patient care. The role includes supporting and directing Pharmacy Technician Support Staff and managing patient safety, professional pharmacy practice, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, personnel, inventory, financial profitability, loss prevention, and workflow.

The Staff Pharmacist helps patients stay healthy through patient-care programs, applies pharmacy knowledge to improve health outcomes, and contributes to a supportive team culture. The position requires an active pharmacy license in the state of employment, immunization certification, and eligibility under the stated controlled-substance and criminal-history requirements. The preferred education is a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Pharm.D. degree.

This is a part-time role scheduled for 20 hours per week. The stated pay range is $65.00–$81.00 per hour. The position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program, as well as a range of benefits subject to hours worked and eligibility.

Requirements

• Active pharmacy license in the state of employment.
• Not listed on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
• Immunization certification through an accredited organization, such as APhA.
• No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.

Responsibilities

• Support the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing Pharmacy Technician Support Staff.
• Support the management, oversight, and operation of all aspects of the pharmacy.
• Maintain patient safety and professional pharmacy practice, and meet regulatory requirements.
• Support quality assurance, customer service, personnel management, inventory management, financial profitability, loss prevention, and workflow management.
• Adopt and manage patient-care programs to help keep customers and patients healthy.

• Motivate, inspire, and develop Pharmacy Support Staff by balancing assignments, addressing development opportunities, and reducing knowledge gaps.
