Staff Nurse FT Nights Memory Care 7p-7a
About The Position
QSL Management is hiring a Staff Nurse for The Blake at Biloxi. The nurse provides medical treatment and administers medication according to physician orders and applicable board and state regulations for assisted living. The role provides care and service to residents, assists with memory and performance improvement programs, and works independently with minimal direct supervision as well as collaboratively with a team. The nurse also serves as the shift charge nurse for personal assistants under the direction of the Wellness Leadership team. The position is listed for full-time night shifts, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Requirements
- Must have a caring heart and be willing to serve others.
- Current state-issued Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- Current CPR certification.
- Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Assisted living or long-term care experience.
- Current First Aid certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical treatment and administer medication according to physician orders and applicable board and state regulations for assisted living.
- Provide care and service to residents while remaining flexible and adapting to change.
- Assist residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
- Work independently and with a team to make decisions, organize and prioritize tasks, document clearly, and follow through on assignments.
- Serve as charge nurse on shift for personal assistants under the direction of the Wellness Leadership team.
