Staff Nurse Cardiac Cath Lab
About The Position
The Staff Nurse Cardiac Cath Lab provides safe, high-quality patient care before, during, and after diagnostic and interventional procedures. The nurse assesses patients systematically, analyzes collected data to develop a plan of care, implements measurable care plans, and evaluates those plans with patients and their family support systems. The role also contributes to a high-performance work environment by pursuing educational resources to maintain and enhance current knowledge and skills, and completes other duties and special assignments as assigned. The position requires graduation from an accredited School of Nursing and a BSN. Three years of cardiovascular nursing experience is required, with Cath Lab or Critical Care experience required. The role reports to the Manager Cath Lab.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Three years of cardiovascular nursing experience.
- Cath Lab or Critical Care experience required.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments systematically and in an organized manner to support safe, high-quality outcomes.
- Provide patient care before, during, and after diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Analyze collected data and formulate a plan of care that supports safe, high-quality outcomes.
- Implement a plan of care with measurable criteria consistent with world-class performance levels.
- Evaluate the plan of care with the patient and family support system to maintain high patient satisfaction and outcomes.
- Seek educational resources to enhance and maintain current knowledge and skills.
- Complete other duties and special assignments as assigned.
