About The Position

As a Staff Layout Designer at Micron Technology, you will support Design Engineering, Product Engineering, Process Integration, Probe, and Assembly teams. You will proactively design products that optimize manufacturing functions and help ensure cost, quality, reliability, time-to-market, and customer satisfaction. The role contributes to future memory generations in a dynamic work environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with more than 4 years of experience, or a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with 2 or more years of experience.
• Coursework in CMOS circuit design and VLSI.
• Coursework that included creating physical circuit layouts.
• Knowledge and experience using Cadence Virtuoso.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated, hardworking team player who enjoys working with others.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of layout synthesis and place-and-route techniques.
• Experience with LVS and DRC tools such as Calibre.
• Ability to use AI-enabled tools to assist with layout floor planning, place and route.
• Experience with standard cell construction and analog layout techniques.
• An innovative approach and openness to improving processes or products.
