About The Position

The Staff Integration Lead will re-envision, coordinate, and continuously improve GAI’s onboarding and early employee integration process, helping new staff feel comfortable and become productive as quickly as possible. The role reviews existing systems and proposes enhancements to improve employee experience and job satisfaction. This position coordinates hiring and onboarding activities, partners with candidates, hiring managers, and internal teams, facilitates new-hire orientation and check-ins, manages screenings and background checks, documentation and HRIS entry, and administers the Form I-9 lifecycle for onsite and remote employees. It also maintains accurate, confidential personnel records, conducts exit interviews, uses feedback to improve HR systems and processes, and upholds GAI’s safety standards. The role follows a hybrid schedule: one to two days working remotely and two to three days in a GAI office each week. Occasional travel to other GAI offices is typically once or twice per year. The position offers opportunities to expand ownership of employee programs, lead improvements, influence People & Culture strategy, and strengthen HR expertise. Quarterly participation in local SHRM events is also noted.
