About The Position

Analog Devices is seeking a Staff Forward Deployed Engineer, a hybrid software engineer and technical consultant who embeds with strategic customers to implement, customize, and scale ADI's AI and edge technology in real-world infrastructure. The role develops production-grade software and customer-specific solutions, translating customer problems into architectures that deliver measurable outcomes. It also drives rapid iteration and field learning and produces reusable, ADI-owned assets.

Requirements

• BS or MS in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience building production software.
• Strong Python skills and experience with data pipelines, APIs, and MLOps/AI workflows.
• Comfort deploying and debugging on-site in complex enterprise environments.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate customer needs into architecture.
• Willingness to travel and embed with strategic clients.

Nice To Haves

• Background in Edge AI, LLM/agentic systems, or signal processing.
• Prior forward-deployed, field, or solutions-engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Write production-grade code, including custom data pipelines, API integrations, and MLOps/AI workflows.
• Embed on-site with clients and partner across CSG, VBU, SDP, and Edge AI teams.
• Frame customer problems and own the architecture that solves them.
• Drive rapid iteration and field learning to deliver measurable customer outcomes.
• Produce reusable, ADI-owned assets that create defensible wedges.
