About The Position

MaineDOT is seeking a dynamic and creative training professional to join our Human Resources team. This position plays a key role in developing, coordinating, and delivering training programs that support employee growth, organizational effectiveness, and workforce development across the Department. As a Staff Development Specialist III, you will work closely with employees, supervisors, managers, and subject matter experts to identify training needs, design engaging learning experiences, coordinate training events, and deliver high-quality instructional programs. This position offers the opportunity to influence employee development from onboarding through career advancement while helping build a skilled and capable workforce.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited educational institution and one (1) year of work experience in staff development training program development and/or delivery.
  • Directly related experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.
