About The Position

The Staff Development Instructor delivers training programs for staff. Participates in and contributes to the development and implementation of high quality, timely education for clinical staff. Maintains a safe, effective, and positive learning environment.

Requirements

  • Current and unrestricted license and/or certifications as required to maintain instructor qualifications for assigned courses
  • Proven record of exceptional performance in role related to assigned courses
  • Must meet instructor qualifications for assigned courses. Examples: American Heart Association - Basic Life Support Instructor (BLSI), American Heart Association - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Instructor (ACLSI), American Heart Association - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Instructor (PALSI), American Academy of Pediatrics - Neonatal Resuscitation Program Instructor (NRPI)

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as an instructor preferred.
  • Formal education and/or experience in adult education, training, and development preferred.
  • Equivalent combinations of experience and education may be considered.
