Nurse Extern - Nursing Administration - PRN
About The Position
The Nurse Extern will work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) and other licensed healthcare professionals to gain hands-on clinical experience while building self-confidence and skills related to time management and communication. This role is designed to provide nursing students with the opportunity to apply their academic knowledge in a practical healthcare setting while adhering to the standards outlined in the Colorado Nurse Practice Act. The externship aims to enhance the student’s clinical skills, critical thinking, and professional development in preparation for becoming a licensed RN. Requirements
- Currently enrolled and in good standing at an accredited nursing program
- Must have completed nursing Fundamentals/Foundations with clinical
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- BLS may be obtained upon hire
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
