POSITION SUMMARY You will be providing Level I IT Support and Break/Fix resolution as well as installation of new equipment and services. This is an on-site role with coverage in eastern Suffolk County, NY.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an IT related curriculum or related field experience
- Proven Experience as a Support Engineer or relevant position
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Able to plan and execute projects efficiently, independently, and effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to take instruction
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- In-depth understanding of diverse computer systems
- Good knowledge of Internet security and data privacy principles
- Must be detail-oriented and able to keep impeccable documentation
- Looking to grow and improve their skillset
- Significant knowledge of laptop hardware, as well as the ability to repair the device from top to bottom
- Latest Windows OS, ChromeOS, Misc. software, Microsoft Office 365, printing, troubleshooting skills especially Print Server communication, as well as significant hardware troubleshooting skills
- Legacy and latest Windows Server OS, Active Directory, group policy, printing, NTFS and share permissions, troubleshooting skills
- Active Directory – Users and Devices
- Google Workspace Administration
- Apple MDM (DEP, VPP)
- Ability to interface with vendors through email or voice call to schedule RMA for devices
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair various printer models/makes
