The Office of Diversion and Reentry (ODR) is a program office within Community Programs, a division under the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services (DHS). The State of California’s Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) is implementing the California Advancing and Innovating Medi-Cal (CalAIM) program. CalAIM is being administered by the Medical Care Plans (MCPs) in each jurisdiction and a key feature of CalAIM is Community Supports (CS) which will cover some of the costs of tenancy sustaining service and housing navigation services for Medi-Cal beneficiaries who meet criteria. DHS ODR is responsible for the daily oversight and implementation of the CalAIM initiative. The Staff Analyst will work under the ODR Housing Team in support of the Community Supports (CS) program for CalAIM. The position will focus on managing team referrals, monitor data quality, collaborate with managed health plans and coordinate with ODR program managers. The position will also be working on developing reporting and managing the workflow for the CalAIM team along with other assigned duties. This position will require strong organizational skills, experience with data analytics, and ability to manage relationships with internal and external partners. The Staff Analyst, Health will report to ODR’s CalAIM CS Senior Staff Analyst. The Staff Analyst will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing programs for the Office of Diversion and Reentry under the Supportive Housing Services Master Agreement including Reentry Intensive Case Management Services. Funding for this position is time limited. The position is funded for a 12 month period from start date or December 31, 2027, whatever ends earlier.
