About The Position

The Consultant leads multiple simultaneous Unanet AIM implementations and legacy Flowtrac transition engagements of varying complexity. The role helps customers adopt AIM, address data and integration needs, and achieve successful operational outcomes. The Consultant works with customer business, operational, and accounting requirements to shape AIM configuration and workflows, and supports customers continuing to use legacy Flowtrac through training, process consulting, and feature or integration reviews. The position includes planning and executing Flowtrac-to-AIM migration activities, configuring and validating ERP-to-AIM synchronization, coordinating product and technical issue resolution, and guiding customers through testing, training, go-live readiness, and post-launch stabilization. The Consultant follows Unanet’s milestone-based implementation and migration process, maintains project documentation, and works with Project Managers to support schedule, budget, utilization, and workload goals across concurrent engagements. During the first 30 days, the Consultant completes onboarding and foundational training and shadows customer delivery activities. By 60 days, the Consultant contributes to active engagements with guidance, including discovery, documentation, configuration, validation, testing, and training. By 90 days, the Consultant is expected to own defined workstreams or milestones and coordinate assigned customer deliverables with appropriate support.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience with accounting systems, inventory or manufacturing processes, project management, data migration, systems integration, and practical accounting or operations work.
  • Proficiency working with and manipulating large data sets using Excel.
  • Prior business consulting, systems implementation, or customer-facing software delivery experience.
  • Ability to understand and explain complex operational workflows, especially inventory, manufacturing, purchasing, work orders, costing, and accounting processes.
  • Experience with data migration, data validation, systems integration, testing, or reconciliation across source and target systems.
  • Ability to operate across multiple workstreams while supporting multiple customers and implementations in parallel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document technical and operational concepts for business and technical audiences.

Nice To Haves

  • Inventory, manufacturing, or systems implementation certification.
  • Familiarity with Unanet AIM, legacy Flowtrac, ERP systems, APIs, or comparable business applications.

Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery, requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution design for Unanet AIM implementations across operational workflows.
  • Translate customer business, operational, and accounting requirements into AIM configuration for projects, tasks, organizations, vendors, inventory, bills of material, work orders, purchasing, receiving, costing, and reporting.
  • Provide training and process consulting to customers using legacy Flowtrac and review requests for new features or integrations.
  • Assess legacy Flowtrac functionality and data to determine what should migrate to AIM, be redesigned, remain in the legacy environment, or be retired, while setting expectations about process and feature differences.
  • Plan and execute Flowtrac-to-AIM migration activities, including backup coordination, data review and cleansing, source-to-target mapping, sandbox setup, validation, cutover readiness, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Coordinate with Product, Development, Support, Integrations, and Project Management to evaluate product gaps, defects, data issues, and integration constraints, escalating risks with recommendations.
  • Configure and validate ERP-to-AIM synchronization for project, account, vendor, purchase order, receipt, work order, inventory, and journal flows, accounting for native and legacy integration patterns.
  • Lead customer training and adoption activities; support user acceptance testing, test planning, issue triage, go-live readiness checkpoints, and transition to support.
  • Follow the standard Unanet milestone-based implementation and migration process and maintain project documentation, decisions, assumptions, risks, and customer-specific runbooks.
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager to keep engagements on schedule and within budget, maintain target utilization, and organize workload across concurrent implementations and migration workstreams.
  • Support continuous improvement of Professional Services processes, reusable playbooks, implementation templates, and customer-facing documentation.
  • Participate in group meetings and training sessions to build product knowledge and share implementation and transition lessons learned.
  • Stay current on Unanet AIM functionality, legacy Flowtrac considerations, integration capabilities, product changes, and implementation best practices.
  • Complete onboarding and foundational training, shadow customer delivery activities, and develop familiarity with core AIM workflows and internal escalation paths during the first 30 days.
  • Contribute to active customer engagements during the first 60 days by preparing for and participating in discovery and process-mapping sessions, documenting requirements and decisions, completing assigned configuration and data-validation tasks, and supporting testing and training.
  • Own defined workstreams or milestones within one or more engagements by the first 90 days, coordinating assigned deliverables, tracking risks and decisions, and supporting integration and migration validation.
