About The Position
We’re hiring a Staff Accountant in Baton Rouge, LA! Requirements
- Strong Excel and MS Office skills
- Knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and best practices
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Nice To Haves
- 1–2+ years of related experience preferred
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
- Healthcare or pharmacy industry experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Support full-cycle accounting responsibilities, including sales and use tax filings, fixed asset and CIP reconciliations, prepaid expense amortization, business license renewals, property tax accruals, audit documentation, and more.
