About The Position

Responsible for accounting for purchased services and accounts receivable for the Albany Medical Center Hospital. This role involves the billing of Student Tuition of the Albany Medical College, monthly accounting for tuition, scholarship revenue and expenses, and monthly account reconciliations of Student Tuition Receivables and Deferred Tuition Revenue. It also includes monthly accounting for AMC medical services provided to 3rd party medical practices, monthly billing for rent to Non AMC medical practices, monthly billing for CAM and utility charges, and accounting and reporting of Hospital Housestaff receivables. The position also involves budgeting and forecasting of future contracts by year and by department.

Requirements

  • BS of Accounting, BS of Business Science, concentration in Accounting
  • 1-2 years, preferred not required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications, including Excel, Word and Teams
  • Ability to work as part of a Team as well as individually
  • Strong Communication Skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to meet assigned deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy

  • Familiarity with WorkDay, preferred not required
  • Strong Management skills

Responsibilities
