About The Position

Sabre Systems, LLC is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our accounting and finance team. This role offers a clear path for professional growth, with the opportunity to advance within the accounting and finance function—ultimately serving as backup to the Controller (Assistant Controller). The Staff Accountant will cross-train across various functional areas to provide backup coverage, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Project Setup, Payroll, General Ledger (GL) account reconciliations, and Bank reconciliations. This position is designed with advancement in mind, with the Staff Accountant progressing to assume backup responsibilities for the Controller as an Assistant Controller.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of accounting experience in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment using Deltek Costpoint
• A four-year Accounting degree is preferred; equivalent experience
• Candidate must be a US Citizen
• Will be required to pass a background check for this position

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with CAS/FAR and GAAP highly desirable
• CPA certification is not required
