Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in an internship or accounting role, preferably within finance, consulting, or technology
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, Tax, Audit, or Finance
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite; Advanced MS Excel skills (Logical Formulas, Lookups, Pivot Tables; experience with Visual Basic and/or SQL a plus but not required)
- Exceptional customer service skills; cooperative; strong team‐player
- An eye for the details and the ability to deliver accurate output in a timely manner
- Strong organizational skills and comfort with managing multiple work streams
- High level of self‐motivation with the ability to manage priorities, troubleshoot issues as they arise, and work independently
- Poised and works well under pressure and in a fast-paced changing environment
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Responsibilities
- Supporting day-to-day accounting functions
- Responsible for maintaining and reconciling bank statements
- Performing month-end close tasks and preparing financial statement analysis
- Preparing balance sheet account reconciliations
- Reviewing and analyzing general ledger transactions and accounts
- Preparing supporting documentation for financial statement audit and tax provisions / returns
- Assisting manager with preparation of workpapers for tax filings
- Ensuring that appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained
- Conducting ad-hoc analysis to support leadership requests
- Driving continuous improvement in accounting processes
