About The Position

As our Staff Accountant, you will play a critical role in supporting the financial health, accuracy, and operational integrity of our corporate finance division. Reporting directly to the Corporate Finance Manager, you will take ownership of essential accounting functions, from driving standard month-end closing procedures to delivering high-level general ledger reconciliations and financial analysis. In this role, you will act as a vital internal liaison between various finance teams, ensuring timely submissions and reliable data. You will blend a strong operational aptitude with sharp analytical skills, assisting with specialized calculations like inventory analysis, accounts receivable adjustments, and treasury reporting. This is a dynamic position within our site leadership framework, contributing directly to the reliable reporting required for senior management decision-making and strategic business growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of progressive corporate accounting experience; Big 4 public accounting experience is highly preferred.
  • Expert Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills are required.
  • Experience working with ERP systems, consolidation software, and collaborative online tools (such as QuickBooks or Planful) is a strong plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, detail orientation, and an operational aptitude that allows you to easily merge logistical data with financial analysis.
  • Exceptional multitasking capabilities, organizational skills, and a proven track record of taking ownership to complete tasks accurately and within strict deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel on a limited basis throughout the US and Northern Mexico.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder) to comply with corporate and ITAR site regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Big 4 public accounting experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Execute standard month-end closing procedures and prepare corporate general ledger entries.
  • Analyze and reconcile GL accounts, investigate variances, and propose corrective adjustments.
  • Assist with specialized inventory calculations (E&O, variance capitalization) and annual physical counts.
  • Prepare accounts receivable bad debt analysis and manage daily, weekly, and monthly cash reporting.
  • Assist with regulatory and US Tax filings while ensuring alignment with internal controls.
  • Partner across finance teams to ensure timely submissions and prepare financial reports for Senior Management.

Benefits

  • The pay range for this position is $85-105k per year.
