About The Position

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Staff Accountant – Accounts Receivable. In this role, you will perform financial information processing, reporting, and analysis of the company by performing the following duties personally or in conjunction with other accounting staff. Requirements

A two-year college degree (accounting preferred) or equivalent education/experience.
Three to five years of employment in a related position (Finance/Accounting) with this company or other organization(s).
Requires knowledge of the accounting, finance, and hospitality profession.

Nice To Haves

Hospitality accounting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Support finance team members in management of Accounting Office functions.
Prepare budget reports, work with energy conservation program, and take physical inventory at various locations within the company as requested.
Work with real estate and personal property tax analysis when requested.
Assist in dealing with fixed assets, TRN, and Kalahari statements.
Create and maintain financial binders, bank reconciliations, audit schedules, and deal with billing issues when needed.
Performs special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
