About The Position

Hamilton Families is seeking a Stability Coordinator to join their growing team. This role is integral to the organization's mission of ending family homelessness in the San Francisco Bay Area. The Stability Coordinator will provide strategic oversight, guidance, and professional development support to Stability Case Managers. This position is responsible for overseeing participant program activities, conducting new hire and ongoing training for the team, and ensuring program compliance with service goals and objectives. Requirements

  • Ability to work and collaborate with a diverse group of people on projects and making decisions for the benefit of our participants.
  • Familiarity with case management databases or customer service platforms.
  • A thoughtful leader who ensures their team has a healthy and collaborative working environment.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently to meet goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise appropriate judgement and uphold policies and procedures.
  • Skilled in documentation, reporting, and maintaining confidentiality.
  • 3+ years of experience in social work, psychology, human services setting or related field.
  • Experience managing a team, setting goals, coaching opportunities, and professional development.
  • A background in working with nonprofit organizations, social services organizations, or community-based programs.
  • Familiarity with Bay Area resources for low-income families.
  • Bilingual abilities, especially in Spanish.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, and other software.
  • Ability to travel locally and long distance to meet with vendors and participants.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Housing Stability Manager to develop strategies and oversee the implementation of programs supporting at-risk families.
  • Supervise and provide strategic direction for case management staff, including leading meetings, performance evaluations, and professional coaching.
  • Lead recruitment efforts and training for case management staff and ensuring alignment with HF policies and program needs.
  • Oversee resolution of complex service challenges and guide staff in developing effective approaches and solutions.
  • Develop individual assessments and service plans in line with program goals.
  • Enhance participant relations and create a work environment focused on service, diversity, and respect that guides staff to ensure a positive experience for our participants.
  • Oversee reporting and quality assurance processes to ensure data integrity and compliance with program goals.
  • Lead case reviews, exit planning, and program coordination meetings and act as a liaison with funders and community organizations.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and assist in policy and procedure development.
  • Promote culturally competent services and a collaborative work environment.
  • May occasionally assume limited case management responsibilities for training or program purposes.
