About The Position
LeadStack Inc. is seeking a Test Engineer for the NVMe functional test team within the enterprise product division. The candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and debugging functional tests for NVMe Solid State Drives, with a primary focus on failure triage.
Requirements
- Expertise in at least one front-end storage protocol such as NVMe/PCIe, SAS, or USB (NVMe preferred).
- Familiarity with scripting, with Python language skills desired.
- Familiarity with SSD or HDD testing.
- Experience in failure triage.
Responsibilities
- Planning, execution, and debug of functional tests on NVMe Solid State Drives.
- Special emphasis on failure triage.
- Determining if test execution failures are related to SSD device firmware or test scripts/test setup.
- Collaborating with the test development team, test execution team, and SSD firmware development team during failure triage.
