About The Position
These Teaching Assistant positions are only available to McGill graduate students. The positions involve instruction in conference sections (if scheduled), being available for student consultation by email or by office hours, attending class lectures (where required), grading papers and exams, and assisting in the preparation of course materials (where required).
Requirements
- Academic background in religious studies preferably graduate level.
- Prior graduate/undergraduate study in the subject of the course.
- Strong overall academic performance.
- Suitable teaching skills.
- Must be registered in an MA or PhD program at McGill University.
Responsibilities
- Instruction in conference sections (if scheduled).
- Be available for student consultation by email or by office hours.
- Attend class lectures (where required).
- Grade papers and exams.
- Assist in preparation of course materials (where required).
