Workday•Chicago, IL

About The Position

The Senior Value Manager joins Workday’s Healthcare Value Management team, which partners strategically with healthcare customers to help them realize lasting value from their Workday investment and plan their use of AI. The team works with sales and account teams to shape account strategy and adapt as customer priorities evolve. The role supports influential healthcare organizations in using AI to transform their businesses. The Senior Value Manager helps healthcare customers move from a single investment decision to continuous, measurable outcomes. This includes defining business impact, activating and consuming purchased capabilities, and demonstrating results over time so the value of the Workday investment continues to grow. The role owns outcomes strategy for a portfolio of complex healthcare accounts, leads cross-functional engagements involving post-sale adoption, consumption, and executive alignment, and mentors other Value Managers. It also contributes reusable models, healthcare and AI perspectives, and other intellectual property to make the value practice repeatable.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience defining, quantifying, and tracking business outcomes from enterprise technology investments, including ownership of the value approach across a portfolio of accounts or engagements.
  • At least 5 years of experience in healthcare, such as providers, payers, or healthcare services organizations.
  • Experience measuring and reporting realized outcomes after implementation, not only projected value at the point of decision.
  • Experience with consumption-based, usage-based, or other non-seat-based commercial models, including helping customers build internal cases for new spend, forecast usage, and stay aligned as economics change.
  • Understanding of how customers plan, govern, and scale consumption of AI or platform capabilities over time.
  • Experience with enterprise HCM, ERP, or financial systems and the operational realities of running them in a healthcare environment.
  • Demonstrated executive presence and clear, confident communication with senior leaders in high-stakes conversations.
  • Comfort building an approach and helping shape a new value-management motion.
