About The Position

We are seeking a Sr. Technical Lead - Mechanical Engineer with strong experience in component design using various manufacturing processes such as stamping, molding, and machining. The ideal candidate will be a disciplined team lead, capable of working independently and managing a team. Proficiency in Creo & SolidWorks CAD software, including creating 3D models, sheet metal, 2D drawings, and assemblies, is essential. This role requires strong knowledge of manufacturability considerations for plastic and sheet metal, experience with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), and tolerance stack-up analysis. The candidate will also be responsible for creating DFMEAs, identifying product risks, selecting appropriate materials, applying DFM/DFA concepts, and staying updated with the latest engineering design methods, tools, and processes. Experience with standard New Product Introduction (NPI) / New Product Development (NPD) processes and an understanding of compliance requirements are necessary. Hands-on experience with Windchill PDM/PLM for component lifecycle management is required. The ability to present and articulate ideas to key stakeholders and leadership, excellent communication skills, a positive and proactive attitude, and a quality mindset in design and documentation are crucial for this position.
