About The Position

The Sr Systems Analyst position is primarily focused on developing applications that support eight paper mills located throughout the United States. The role works in SQL Server and Microsoft Windows/Active Directory environments and requires experience with .NET and SQL. The successful candidate will communicate and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment. Some project-based travel is involved.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or an equivalent field of study.
• Experience with VB.NET or C#.
• Experience with .NET Framework 4 or later.
• Experience with source control; Git is preferred.
• Experience with SQL Server 2017 or later.
• Ability to write SQL queries and create stored procedures, functions, and views.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and computer skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and within time constraints, multitask, and adapt to ambiguity and change.
• Ability to independently make sound decisions through creative problem-solving and detailed requirements gathering.

Nice To Haves

• Web development experience.
• Experience with ASP.NET MVC, Web API, or Blazor.
• Experience with JavaScript or JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS, or Bootstrap.
• Mobile web development experience.
• Five to seven years of experience in Windows desktop development using Windows Forms or WPF.
