About The Position

This position is responsible for leading and directing a team to achieve GGP farm objectives. The role focuses on meeting production and compliance goals, developing a qualified and effective workforce, maintaining strong employee relations, and ensuring efficient operations within budget and infrastructure standards. This is an entry-level professional position responsible for supervising an individual or small group of non-exempt team members (e.g., clerical, administrative, or production). Responsibilities include training, monitoring work quality, and coaching team members on performance. The role is accountable for the quality and results produced by the team and requires the ability to work independently and evaluate alternatives in situations not fully covered by written procedures.

Requirements

  • College degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in data collection and management using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work in a biosecure environment and shower before entering the facility; multiple showers may be required during the workday.
  • Willingness to wear appropriate clothing and footwear provided by the Company.
  • No jewelry may be worn on the jobsite except medical ID jewelry.
  • Willingness to sign an agreement to avoid contact with all avian species (including chickens, ducks, and birds).
  • Adherence to the Company Animal Welfare Policy at all times.
  • Must use safe lifting techniques.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit.
  • Ability to use hands to touch, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms.
  • Ability to balance and stoop.
  • Ability to talk and hear.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Willingness to follow all required safety procedures and wear the required personal protective equipment when visiting facilities.
