  • Proven experience developing manufacturing processes for production at rate and designing for manufacturability.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering practices, fabrication and integration processes, and quality control.

Responsibilities

  • Design and analyze primary and secondary structures, including composite and metallic piece parts and integrated structural assemblies.
  • Coordinate with other subsystem teams on structural interface design.
  • Provide on-site manufacturing and production support, including travel when needed.
  • Ensure production quality and disposition hardware nonconformances.
  • Support configuration development and trade studies.
  • Review designers’ and junior structural analysts’ stress, stability, and fracture analyses and standard processes.
  • Work with multifunctional teams selecting materials, manufacturing processes, and suppliers for aerospace hardware.
  • Develop and improve enterprise analysis capabilities, including process automation tools for model creation, strength checks, and analysis report generation.
  • Maintain and report activity schedule, budget, and technical status.
