Sr. Staff Manager, Marketing Analytics & Measurement

Marvell TechnologySan Diego, CA
$151,300 - $223,890

About The Position

Marvell is scaling fast inside one of the largest growth cycles in the industry — AI-scale infrastructure. As the company grows, marketing is growing with it, and this role is core to making sure that growth happens with discipline: measurable outcomes, not just more activity. Marvell's Global Marketing organization exists to accelerate Marvell's growth by delivering impactful outcomes and services that elevate our brand, captivate our target audiences, and exceed stakeholder expectations. The organization encompasses communications, digital, events, social, analyst relations, marketing research, and product and technology marketing, working closely with Marvell's business units, investor relations, finance, HR, and executive staff to ensure our messaging and positioning resonate with diverse global audiences. The Sr. Staff Manager, Marketing Analytics & Measurement is a newly created, high-visibility role chartered to build the mechanism Marvell's marketing 3-year plan names for judging outcomes over output. You will own how marketing measures itself — building the OKR framework, the CMO dashboard, and the reporting infrastructure that connects marketing activity to business outcomes — establishing marketing as a data-driven strategic partner to the business. Without this function, marketing has no way to prove what's working — investment decisions get made on instinct and activity volume instead of outcomes. This role is the reason marketing can finally answer "is this working" with data instead of anecdote. You'll join a small, fast-moving team where scope and priorities shift as the org scales — this isn't a role with a fixed playbook to execute against; you'll help define it as you go.

Requirements

  • BS degree required; MBA or MS in a quantitative discipline strongly preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience in marketing analytics, measurement, or marketing operations within a B2B technology environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in attribution modeling, marketing mix modeling, and dashboarding tools.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM analytics and connecting marketing data to pipeline and revenue outcomes.
  • Comfortable building a measurement function without an existing framework or team to inherit. This is an individual contributor role at launch, with the mandate to build the function — and the team around it — as it matures.
  • Able to translate data into decision-ready recommendations for senior stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in performance marketing or paid media, with fluency across a broad range of engagement and efficiency metrics (e.g., CPC, click-through rate, time on site, ROAS).
  • Experience in semiconductor, data infrastructure, or adjacent technical B2B industries.
  • Background in data science, statistics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Experience presenting analytics findings directly to C-suite audiences.
  • Familiarity with marketing technology stacks spanning automation, ABM, and web analytics.
  • Experience operating in an OKR- or outcomes-driven marketing culture.

Responsibilities

  • Design and stand up marketing's OKR framework — the objectives and key results marketing is measured against — in partnership with marketing leadership, replacing output-based tracking with outcomes-based accountability.
  • Build and maintain the CMO dashboard spanning the full range of marketing metrics — from front-end campaign performance to brand, pipeline, and business-outcome measures — giving a reliable, ongoing view of what is working and where to invest.
  • Establish a regular reporting cadence across marketing functions, tracking performance against OKRs and surfacing variance for leadership review.
  • Drive adoption of an outcomes-over-output operating principle across marketing functions, working with program owners to set clear, measurable objectives before major investments launch.
  • Partner with Integrated Marketing on performance marketing measurement — tracking front-end engagement metrics such as CPC, click-through rate, and time on site, alongside broader efficiency and pipeline-influence metrics across paid and owned channels.
  • Establish testing and optimization frameworks (A/B and multivariate testing) to continuously improve performance marketing efficiency.
  • Bring the same rigor applied to performance marketing — fast feedback loops, clear unit economics — to brand and earned-media investment where feasible.
  • Apply multi-touch attribution and marketing mix modeling to connect marketing investment to pipeline and revenue outcomes.
  • Integrate CRM data into marketing reporting to track campaign influence and content usage through the funnel.
  • Own impact measurement for sales enablement and integrated marketing programs — win rates, content usage, and design-win pipeline correlation.
  • Partner with Marketing Operations and internal Business Intelligence teams on the data infrastructure required to support consistent reporting.
  • Establish data governance standards for marketing analytics, ensuring metrics are defined consistently across functions.
  • Translate marketing performance data into recommendations for investment and program prioritization.
  • Partner with Finance on budget-to-impact reporting and with Product & Technology Marketing on enablement impact analysis.
  • Bring OKR and performance findings directly into planning and investment-prioritization discussions with marketing leadership.
