About The Position

The Sr Specialist Retail Operations is a national, hands-on field role that deploys into divisions experiencing peak remodel volume. The specialist leads day-by-day planning, labor sequencing, and stakeholder coordination for complex retail remodels, including gondola resets, adjacency changes, and store-flow projects. The role manages project milestones from the 12-week GO/NO-GO through labor scheduling and pre-walks to post-project close-out, while aligning construction timelines, reset teams, and store readiness. The specialist coaches division-based Remodel Coordinators, provides field insights and best-practice recommendations to retail operations leadership, tracks national KPIs, and helps develop future field leaders. The position operates autonomously across divisions with differing equipment, permitting, and leadership practices, and involves some travel. Work is performed in stores, including potentially refrigerated and freezer areas. The job requires spending 66% or more of each workday in physical activity, including standing for long periods and lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds.

  • Some travel is expected.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the role in a retail in-store environment, including spending 66% or more of the workday in physical activity, standing for long periods, and lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds.
