About The Position

The Sr Specialist Retail Operations is a national, hands-on field role supporting complex retail remodels across divisions during peak remodel volume. The specialist leads day-by-day planning, labor sequencing, and stakeholder coordination for gondola resets, adjacency changes, and store-flow projects, helping align construction timelines, reset crews, and store readiness. The role oversees milestones from the 12-week GO/NO-GO through labor scheduling, pre-walks, project execution, and post-project close-out. The specialist coaches division-based Remodel Coordinators, shares field feedback and best practices with retail operations leadership, tracks national performance indicators, and helps develop high-potential field leaders. The position operates autonomously across geographically dispersed teams and divisions with differing equipment, permitting, and leadership practices. Some travel is expected, and there are no direct reports. Work is performed in retail stores and may involve variable temperatures, including refrigerated and freezer areas. The role typically involves spending 66% or more of each workday in physical activity, including standing for long periods and lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds. The company describes itself as one of North America’s leading sales and marketing agencies, serving manufacturers, suppliers, and producers across a variety of trade channels.
