About The Position

The Sr. Sales Representative supports company revenue and customer retention objectives by providing responsive, accurate, and solution-driven service to customers. This role functions as a customer relationship owner, managing assigned accounts and identifying sales opportunities, while developing pricing proposals within established company guidelines and exercising independent judgment in structuring solutions that meet customer needs and support company profitability and operational objectives.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5 or more years of experience in sales support, customer service, or inside sales.
  • Experience managing customer accounts and supporting revenue growth.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with ERP and/or CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Avsight).
  • Familiarity with logistics and order management processes.
  • Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone and email.
  • Manage assigned customer accounts and serve as the primary relationship owner for sales inquiries and business development opportunities.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of customer orders, including processing, returns, exchanges, and quotations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Develop pricing quotations and negotiate terms within established guidelines to secure customer orders.
  • Exercise discretion in pricing adjustments within approved guidelines to support deal closure and customer retention.
  • Exercise independent judgment in prioritizing sales opportunities and structuring solutions.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate customer records in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, Repairs, Shipping, and Accounting to develop and implement solutions that meet customer needs and support business objectives.
  • Evaluate customer requirements and determine appropriate solutions to meet operational and revenue objectives.
  • Provide order status, shipping updates, and documentation to customers, ensuring clear communication and proactive resolution of potential issues.
  • Escalate complex or high-risk issues to the Regional Director of Sales - Latin America when appropriate.
  • Monitor open orders and proactively address fulfillment issues to support on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify recurring service issues and recommend process improvements.
  • Support customer satisfaction initiatives, including surveys and feedback tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and export requirements (if applicable).
  • Accountable for supporting revenue growth and customer retention within assigned accounts.
  • Work directly with finance to resolve invoice and support collections.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of U.S. government export regulations, including EAR and ITAR, and work directly with the Export Department to ensure compliance.
  • Keep management updated on all activities, including new business opportunities, workload, project deadlines and any operational challenges.
  • Sources or brokers material or services from vendors or shops in accordance with company protocols.
