About The Position

Guitar Center is seeking a Senior Sales Associate who is passionate about music and experienced in sales and leadership. The role focuses on creating a welcoming customer experience, helping customers find instruments and equipment, achieving sales goals, and supporting fellow associates. The position also includes store merchandising and maintenance, operational support, and opening or closing the store as needed as a keyholding team member. The work environment is described as creative, vibrant, fast-paced, and dynamic, with flexibility to work additional hours, nights, and weekends as needed.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment and help customers find gear that supports their musical interests.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets through upselling and cross-selling instruments and accessories.
• Maintain expert knowledge of products, including instruments and recording equipment, and help improve colleagues’ product knowledge.
• Build strong customer relationships and help associates foster relationships in the local music community.
• Organize displays, restock shelves, and maintain the store.
• Guide and mentor team members and support them with customer interactions and operational tasks.
• Open and close the store as needed as a keyholding team member.
