About The Position

Guitar Center is seeking a passionate, goal-oriented Senior Sales Associate to create welcoming customer experiences and help customers find instruments, accessories, and equipment that suit their musical interests. The role involves achieving sales targets, sharing product knowledge, building customer relationships, maintaining store presentation, and supporting and mentoring fellow team members. As a keyholding member of the store, the Senior Sales Associate may be called upon to open and close the store as needed. The position requires flexibility to work additional hours and nights or weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment and help customers find gear that supports their musical interests.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets by recommending relevant instruments, accessories, and complementary products.
• Maintain expert-level knowledge of store products and help improve the product knowledge of other team members.
• Build strong customer relationships and help fellow associates foster relationships with customers and the local music community.
• Organize displays, restock shelves, and maintain the store.
• Guide and mentor team members, supporting them through customer interactions and operational tasks.
• Open and close the store as needed as a keyholding team member.
