The University of Rochester is seeking a Sr Residency/Fellowship Admin to be responsible for the operational management of Residency/Fellowship programs within the Department of Pediatrics. This role involves managing accreditation, compliance, recruitment, evaluation, and educational activities. The position requires a high degree of independence in executing institutional and program activities, such as educational events, trainings, recruitment, orientation, graduation, and site visits. The administrator will maintain advanced knowledge of relevant agencies, regulations, and training requirements for board certification, and will serve as a liaison between trainees, faculty, administration, the Office of Graduate Medical Education (GME), and external agencies. Key responsibilities include maintaining discretion with confidential information, ensuring regulatory compliance, and developing marketing and recruitment initiatives. The role also focuses on identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance administrative management of training initiatives and providing guidance and training to other staff, potentially overseeing up to two lower-level staff.
